Our Story

At the Blue Olive Greek Taverna there is no special formula or elaborate recipes. It’s all about simple ingredients. Locally sourced meat and fish, the purest olive oil and fresh herbs and vegetables. True peasant food created in local villages and age-old recipes that have been passed down for generations by our grandmothers.


We are proud and passionate about the food we grew up eating. We crave the smell of fresh baked bread, grilled lamb and fish, and of course, our mom’s homemade specialties. We are dedicated to recreating dishes that are simple, rustic and authentic to the villages of Greece. Our table is where friends and family gather for love; for laughter; for spirited conversation.
